Verdict
Kona keeps things simple: plain leaf powder and capsules, in mid-size and bulk quantities, with a low $29.99 free-shipping bar and a money-back guarantee. For a site that weights lab transparency at 30%, though, "lab-tested" without published COAs is a significant gap. If published batch reports matter to you, Kats Botanicals, Golden Monk and Super Speciosa all offer them.
Is Kona Kratom legit?
- AKA GMP listing: Kona Kratom is on the AKA vendor list in September 2026. The AKA program requires an annual independent audit, though the AKA does not endorse product quality.
- Age requirement: The homepage says products are "not for use by or sale to persons under the age of 21."
- Plain leaf only: No extracts or 7-OH products appeared on the site when we checked.
- Risk disclosure: The homepage includes the DEA kratom fact sheet disclaimer and notes kratom's addiction potential.
Is Kona Kratom safe? Lab testing
Kona says it performs "rigorous lab-testing to ensure all of our products meet our high standards for purity and potency." We did not find a COA page, a batch lookup or a COA link on the shop page or on the Red Indo product page. Some third-party review sites say Kona provides COAs, but we could not confirm this from Kona's own site, so we treat it as unverified.
