White Kratom (2026): White Vein Strains Compared by Vendor, Price and Lab Reports

White kratom, or white vein kratom, is sold as plain leaf by all seven powder vendors we rate, with White Maeng Da the one strain every one of them carries. Golden Monk had the lowest bulk price ($52.99 per kilo), Kraken and Left Coast the cheapest small bags ($7.49 for 28g), and Kats Botanicals and Super Speciosa the best batch lab lookup (checked September 28, 2026).

What "white vein" means

Vendors sort kratom by the color of the leaf's central vein. They describe white as coming from younger leaves, and some describe drying methods too: Kats Botanicals says its White Maeng Da's white leaf is dried outdoors for three days and indoors for two. White is not a separate species; it's all Mitragyna speciosa. Names like Maeng Da, Borneo, Thai or Malay are trade or regional names. Vendors commonly market white strains for "energy" or "focus"; those are marketing claims, effects aren't established, and the FDA hasn't approved kratom for any use. If you want white vein only, its White Elephant is listed as 100% white vein, also from $8.29. It also lists White Borneo, White Bali and White Sumatra powders and three white capsule lines from $60.99. 5. Kraken Kratom (7.8/10). Low entry prices and free shipping: White Maeng Da Thai from $7.99 (28g), White Borneo and White Sumatra from $7.49, White Borneo capsules (750mg) from $14.36 on sale. How to choose a white kratom

1. Check for blends. Kats's White Maeng Da includes 30% green vein; its White Elephant doesn't.
2. Read the batch report. Color doesn't tell you alkaloid content. See how to read a kratom lab report.
